About Us
The Ecuadorian metal band, co-founded in 2009 by the Sánchez brothers, Alejandro (guitar) and Alvaro (drums), starts as a home project for two metal fans playing covers, until 2017 when they decided to release the “Exiled” EP with Santiago Diaz (voices) and Andres Galarza (bass), as a self-produced/released material, with 5 tracks of heavy metal with some power metal. The great taste showed on their tracks, have lead the band to perform on important live shows as the opening band in acts like Ripper Owens and Timo Tolkki.
In 2021 the band signed with Wolfgang Records for their debut album “Collapse of Reality” (2022) with 10 songs in line with the original heavy-power metal style, which was well received by the critics and fans in their country, as has collected pretty good reviews in the international specialized media.
On August 2022, the members are reunited ones again in their natal town (Guaranda), to begging with recordings for their second LP which contains 9 new songs, that express a darker and deeper songwriting and production as the evolution and maturing of Scavenger members their music.
Now SCAVENGER is looking for a record label to sign a contract for the new album “HUMAN RACE”.
